Intensive In-Home Service:
Intensive In-Home Services is a time-limited intensive family preservation intervention intended to stabilize the living arrangement, promote reunification or prevent out-of-home placements for children and youth. Intensive In-Home Team consists of a licensed Master’s level Therapist and two Bachelor’s Degree level professionals. The Intensive In-Home Teams are on-call 24/7/365 for assigned clients/families.
Hourly Respite Care Service:
Hourly Respite Care Services provide short-term periodic relief program for children/youth and their caregivers. This service is authorized/ funded by Mecklenburg County Area Mental Health. Each child/youth can receive Hourly Respite Care Service up-to 4 hours per day.
Community Support Service:
Family First Community Services, LLC focuses on strengths and needs of individual while utilizing a team concept which incorporates the family as being the most important key player towards their treatment progress. Our Community Support Services provide care coordination to children/ families with emotional and/or behavioral challenges by linking, coordinating, and monitoring services.
Our staff work together as a team with the client, his/her family, and other professionals (if applicable) to ensure client/family’s needs are met. Our Community Support Services will be designed for each individual based on his/her strengths, needs, cultural background, family dynamics, and etc. to build family strengths and develop natural supports, so that the family can continue to stay together in their community. Our Community Support Case Managers are on call to assist clients and their families with support/guidance 24/7/365.
Medication Management:
FFCS is pleased to introduce Dr. Praful Mehta for joining our practice on September 13, 2010. Dr. Mehta is our Medical Director to ensure our clients’ medical needs being met. Dr. Mehta treats children/adolescent/adult with psychiatric needs including substance abuse conditions and work closely with our clinical team by providing medical and clinical supervision to help clients make sustainable and life-changing gains.
Outpatient Therapy:
Outpatient Therapy is individual/group/family therapy for children, youth, and their families at home, school, or the office.
Substance Abuse Intensive Outpatient Program (SAIOP):
SAIOP is a facility-based substance abuse program. The program provides individual, family, and group therapy, case management, substance abuse education, etc. The program is open 4 days per week and 3 hours per day. This is offered to Adolescents and Adult individuals.
Comprehensive Assessment Service:
Comprehensive Assessment will identify your child and family’s need for mental health services and other needed services by doing an extensive interview and review of previous mental, educational, medical, and/or legal record. Our Comprehensive Assessment Team consists of a Licensed PhD Clinical Psychologist and licensed Master’s Level clinicians.
