Intensive In-Home Service:
Intensive In-Home: Intensive In-Home Services are a time-limited Intensive Family Preservation Intervention intended to stabilize the living arrangement, promote reunification or prevent out-of home placement for children and youth. An Intensive In Home Team consists of a licensed Master’s level therapist and two Bachelor’s Degree level professionals. The Intensive In-Home Teams are on call 24/7/365 for assigned clients/families. We also have a team that is specialized in working with adolescents with substance abuse challenges.
We provide individual, group, and family therapy for individuals with Mental Health and/or Substance Abuse challenges. Our therapists use Motivational Interviewing and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy approaches and develop individualized treatment to each client/family.
Comprehensive Assessment identifies a client’s need for Mental Health/Substance Abuse Services and other needed services by doing an extensive interview and review of previous mental, educational, medical, and/or legal record. Our clinicians are highly qualified and specialized in assessing mental health and/or substance abuse diagnosis.
Substance Abuse Intensive Outpatient Program (SAIOP):
SAIOP is a facility-based substance abuse program. The program provides individual, family, and group therapy, case management, substance abuse education, etc. The program is offered to adolescents 4 days per week and 3 hours per day for 12 weeks.
At Family First Community Services LLC, we provide our clients and families Person-Centered Services that are designed to meet their unique needs. Our staff is highly credentialied to provide quality and effective services to our clients. A live clinician is on-call 24/7/365 for crisis management.
FFCS has three Medication Management Providers including Dr. Mehta, Amy Clark, PA and Benita Plata, NP. Dr. Mehta is our Medical Director to ensure our clients’ medical needs being met. Dr. Mehta, Amy and Benita treat children/adolescent/adult with psychiatric needs including Substance Abuse conditions and work closely with our clinical team by providing Medical and Clinical supervision to help clients make sustainable and life-changing gains.

Youth Treatment Court (YTC)
YTC is a 6-12 month program in Meckelnburg County affiliated with The Juvenile Justice System. FFCS Assists in providing an array of services that will meet the clients needs while engaging them in the YTC Program. A YTC client may qualify for other services and programs.

In Home Skill Building
IHSB is a short term, intensive habilitation service occurring in the home to improve on identified areas of weaknesses. Treatment focuses on skill development, training in interpersonal skills, community living skills, therapeutic exercise and training for the caregiver.
Respite provides "relief" of caregiver responsibilities for caregivers or a temporary break for the consumer. It includes activities in the community/home and emergency care. Respite is limited to 30 hours per month.
Community Navigation provides support to individuals with Intellectual Developmental Disabilities (IDD.) This program promotes identifying natural supports, building connections, finding resources, instruction for problem solving, advocacy and coordination of services.
